Winter Recreation

Many people take advantage of the flat-top dykes for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

The cross-country trails are user maintained. For safety reason, we do not encourage people to go out of the CVWMA boundaries onto surrounding private land.

All of the dykes in the CVWMA need to be accessed year round for emergency purposes and to maintain, monitor and control water levels. Although access in the winter is infrequent, please be advised that CVWMA vehicles may need to access these dykes and consequently might drive over the cross-country tracks.
