Notice of temporary walking trails closure
- Thursday November 13th to Monday November 17th (end of day), 2025
Repairs are being conducted on the wooden walkway near the Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre, in Corn Creek Marsh. For the safety of all, we have closed the trails that lead into the work zone.
For this short closure period, please walk/hike on the dykes north of Highway 3 (access from Balancing Rock Trail parking via Marsh Trail) or on the dykes south of the visitor parking lot along West Creston Road (i.e. Wood Duck Walk loop). Summit Creek and Duck Lake are additional options that are nice to explore at this time of year.
