The CVWMA’s number one priority is the health and safety of our staff, partners, volunteers, and visitors. We are following the advice of provincial health medical staff and experts and doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The dikes and trails on CVWMA offer local opportunities for people to get outside. The dikes and trails remain available for use at this time and users are reminded of the directives from the British Columbia Provincial Health Officer to avoid gathering in groups and to keep at least two metres apart from each other when using trails. As always, users are responsible for their own safety and should always exercise caution according to trail conditions, including keeping all dogs on leash at all times.
While dikes and trails currently remain open on CVWMA we are mindful that the province advises that people avoid travelling outside of their communities for recreation purposes at this time. Our response to COVID-19 will change based on direction from Provincial Health Officer. We will continue to communicate regularly.
